- I have been involved in the sport of powerlifting for over 20 years. I am currently and have been for the past 10 years a powerlifting coach.
- In 1983 I competed in the Canada Winter Games (wrestling)
- CPU, IPF National Powerlifting Referee.
- In 1996 I was the meet director of the Canadian Master and Junior Powerlifting Championships.
- I have been the meet director of over 15 local Powerlifting contests and host an annual meet in the month of August called "The August Classic", we see many lifters from the Atlantic region at that time.
- Bronze medal 1992, Silver medal 1994 @ 220 lb. class at the Senior men's Powerlifting Championships
- Won" Coach of the year" for the city of Corner Brook in 1995 and 1997.
- Currently I coach the Corner Brook Powerlifting Club, dealing with athletes between the ages of 14 to 40 years. I also coach Special Olympic athletes .My involvement in these areas is due to my desire to see the great sport of Powerlifting grow!
